Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the most famous and rich Reggae artists. Shottas was a classic movie in which he appeared with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, With Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap suited (remix), and Sensimelia. They all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley performed for the first time at Midem, an international festival of music held in Miami. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war. He was signed to Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997. He then completed the collaboration with label friend P.M. Dawn on the track Gotta be Movin...
